For the very long targets, the thickness could only be measured at point t9. Four diameters are measured as indicated: at the upstream end, du1 to du4, at the middle plane, dm1 to dm4, and at the downstream end, dd1 to dd4, of the cylinder.
Note that the density is 24% below the standard value for carbon!!
